Film distribution is the most ,competitive business of film launching and sustaining films.the films them self are the main reason why cinema   tickets are sold , but its the distributors job to ensure that the product is fairly debuted properly to the public by drawing the widest demographic. This is so that the sales are kept high. 

  

A horizontal integration is the accumulation of a single firm of several firms involved in the same level of production and sharing income at that level. for example A hot dog vendor expanding into selling hamburgers would be an  example of horizontal integration.

A vertical integration is when a company expands its business into areas that are at different levels of the same production path.

rise of the planet of the apes-  The new Hollywood blockbuster 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' may become a all time screen classic. But the controversy starts with British scientists saying that they don't want such action to prevent such a scenario from ever becoming reality.Even though the film has caused a lot of scientist to talk ,this is not the only way that the film has earned the audiences attention. The film also deals with an persistent health issues called Alzheimer which even today needs to be cured for.This real life situation has captured the target audience and a wider demographic which is those who suffer or know someone who suffers from Alzheimer.
many people said it brought to life the world of Avatar and The lord of the rings but in a reality sense. Fox institution has also included in the trailer weta digital which is the digital effects company  for avatar.Also included in the trailer at the end is a web site called apes will rise .com. 

promotion of the film was very advance. There where a premiering for the film where people got a chance to see the actor and talk about their experience whilst producing the film.
The Face book page for Rise of the Planet of the Apes is aiming for fan engagement. It’s asking fans to “Like” the page to unlock access to more features. These features include research videos, an iPhone app which are also available in the Apple Store promoting it further.
the film also had a blast on twitter being the trending topic(@apeswillrise) before the day of release using. The studio twitter account, to promote the film ,a different demographic to watch it.
The most major social media promotion for Rise of the Planet of the Apes is its YouTube channel. The page is custom design with real-time updates, it also has  different versions of the trailer.Even after the movies success it still is current and the promotion production is still carrying on. The film is now going to be on DVD and blue -ray including features such as methodology of the apes,deleted scenes, breaking motion capture boundaries , scene break down character concept of art gallery and many more.

 My finding

The rise of the planet apes hit its all time high all across the world. promotion wise it done a very excellent job. There are many web pages promoting the film there are even web pages in countries like Japan and France. Fox company  also teamed up with other institutions such as face book twitter and YouTube where it captured a wider demographic, it also had releases  in over 40 countries.

•As I was researching further I found out lots of additional information about the film I  found that the budget was $93,000.000.

•Other companies involved with the production twentieth century fox Film corporation, twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation, Chernin Entertainment, dune entertainment.

•The film has made great success and is due to come out on blue - ray and DVD soon.

•The research able me to look at the work behind the success. I took from it the main aspects of the film industry and what the institutions have to do so that the film makes achievement. Promotion is a very significant aspect of getting the film to feel thousand.
